Our founder spent years working at major FMCG food companies, building expertise across the entire snacks category — from production floors to distribution networks. He saw exactly how India's most beloved snacks were made and what went into them.
The Uncomfortable Truth About Palm Oil
From the smallest local brand to the biggest national name, almost every bhujia and namkeen on the market used palm oil. Customers were growing health-conscious, yet the industry hadn't changed. Palm oil — harmful to the heart, bones, and mind, and banned in several countries — remained the standard.
A Decision to Do It Differently
Rather than accepting the status quo, he made a deliberate choice: create snacks that are genuinely good for people. Drawing on India's ancient millet heritage — Ragi, Jowar, Bajra — he developed a product line that proved healthy snacks don't have to taste like a compromise.

Diet Delights is more than a business — it's a family mission. The firm is proudly owned and led by his wife, the proprietor of Luxmii and Company. Together, from Amritsar, they are putting India's forgotten superfoods back where they belong: in your snack bowl.
